Hello, This week, I will tell you about the community I’m in and the meanings it adds to my life. Flutteristas!💜 I think some of you are familiar to this name.

The community for me started with the Google GDG communities, then WTM and of course Flutter, which these communities brought me to Flutteristas. This is an gain for me from the communities, which makes me even more happy now that it has become my job. Thanks to Flutter, I met Flutteristas and other great people in the community.

Flutteristas is a worldwide community of people whose gender identity is either female or non binary and have an interest in Flutter SDK. It is a community with great people in it, where your sources of inspiration are increasing day by day and the support never decreases.

This support is not only on the Flutter side. My interest in design never stopped and even before flutter I was working as a freelance designer. Thanks to the support of the people in the flutteristas community, I even got the chance to design the flutteristas logo.

The Flutteristas Conference was our first event as a community and we did a good job with more than 1800 valuable people from more than 40 countries.🥳🥳 Our valuable speakers supported this conference. And it was very meaningful for me to take part in this conference.

I was very excited until the start of the event. And I started developing a project to give more support.

Of course, it is a project that I need to develop further, but you can review the gitthub codes here.👇

We also have trainings for our development in the Flutteristas community. Training with Speechless Inc. was one of the best experiences for me. I gave a lot of public speaking, but speaking in English was always a challenging and stressful process for me. Thanks to this training, I learned a lot about what I can do before the speech and how I can manage the presentation better. The activities we did were very fun.

I also made a speech at the Flutteristas Conference, and Flutter team supported and trained us to make our speech better. I was so stressful until the last minute of my speech, even I know it wasn’t live and I was recording it. And when I see myself on the screen, with the live reaction & comments of people, it was a one of a kind experience.

For those people who got interest in Flutteristas, joining to the community is pretty easy. Go to Flutteristas’ Meetup page and join the next event!

Nilay Yener, Danielle Cox and Stef Patterson are the most helpful, supportive and nicest people I’ve ever known and if you are new don’t be shy to get in touch with them. 💜💜
